About
My name is Mariano Alvarado, and I was very fortunate to have discovered the water industry early in my career. I have worked in distribution, sourcing, hospitality, and the medical field. There is nothing like the water industry. The pay and benefits are absolutely incredible. There are a ton of people that have made great careers out of this industry. The best part about it is that you do not need higher education. You can begin a career with only a high school diploma or something equivalent. You could start right after you graduate, and I recommend that you do.
I have had the pleasure of working in this industry for the last seven years. I have worked both in the private sector and the public sector. There is really no difference when it comes to doing the work. I am the person that primarily looks to recruit people and will be the first person to review applications. My field is human resources. It has been a rewarding field with a few not-so-great things about the field but no job is perfect. I know that because of the industry I work in my pay and benefits are much better than a lot of people out there. That is why I love this industry and want to share it with others.
My Passion
It would be nice if everyone knew all the jobs that people could work in. I wish all of us would graduate and know the pay you could make if you worked here versus there and all that stuff. That is not how it works. Most of us will probably do something pretty similar to what our parents do or will be persuaded to follow the careers that everyone knows about. Those careers are doctors, lawyers, teachers, and engineers. These are all great careers, and you should follow them if that is what you want. I want to expose people to a very underrated field. That field is water.
I want to be able to give people a different option to having a career. A path that does not need an undergraduate degree and a ton of debt. The only thing you will need is your high school diploma or something equivalent. The part I love about my job in human resources is the excitement of when someone hears they got the job. I love being out there and recruiting people. I love it when they have questions and are engaged with me. I went into human resources because I wanted to make a difference in people’s life’s. I wanted to help them like the first person that took the time to help me.
I love recruitment and helping people find jobs. The best part of being in the water industry is they could truly make a career out of this industry. You could climb the ladder with the hands-on knowledge you get every day you are working. You will also play an important part in providing a vital item all of us need. That part is water. I want to help people find jobs in this industry because I really love the opportunities this industry brings.
My Goals
I want to help people find work. I want to show them where to look and how to start. Thanks to my knowledge in the water industry, I have been able to help people land jobs in this industry. I am proud to say that people have started careers because of me. I want to help as many people as possible find work and build a career. I want people to look back and be impressed with what they have been able to achieve in this industry.
I want you to have the best life possible. Finding a job and starting a career is one part of the formula. I want you to have your cake and eat it too. I want to help you financially and educate you on your pay and benefits. I also want to be able to share the knowledge I have had the pleasure to share with few. That knowledge is how to build wealth and retire happy. I see firsthand how people start late and do not think of the future. I want you to get your job, save, invest, and live happily.
